It's been so long since I had a day out with my camera. I obtained a new tripod, and so, decided that I would finally get round to getting some HDR photography on the go. I've been wanting to do some for quite some time now... I took a trip down to the royal quays to get some good criteria for the well-composed shot. I struggled at first until I walked to the harbour; grungy looking ships, yachts, sun and a good background landscape. What more could I ask for? Alas, check out some of my recent deviations to get an idea of what I got upto.
HDR is really fun as it seems, albeit, the shot takes about 20 seconds to setup and snap upto 12 ev/bracketed images, the computer work later required can take anywhere from ~30minutes upto ~1.5 hours. :S However, the result is worth the while.
I'm going to keep up with HDR and try and get better at composing and creating great images. Now I just need a better lens
